After the consultation she gives a list of current references and encourages you to call them. She also encourages couples to interview other wedding consultants so you are sure she is the right one for you. Upon hiring Marcia, her contract is set up like a menu in a restaurant. You are able to pick and choose from a list of services. For instance, you may choose to hire her for only the rehearsal and day of the wedding. In this case, there is a flat fee and an hourly rate for consultations before the event. Another option would be to obtain vendor referrals, based on your consultation and budget, for a flat fee. If you would like her to both locate and procure vendors, she will organize all communication with those vendors and charge a percentage of each vendor's fee. She will also work with services already contracted by the couple. For those who would like Marcia to take care of everything, the cost is based on a percentage of the actual wedding budget.
